<p>UCI, UCD, UCSB, Cal Poly SLO all have similar admission stats.</p>

<p>For Cal Poly engineering admitted freshmen average stats are:</p>

<p>GPA: 4.03
ACT: 31
SAT: 1372</p>

<p>I would say you should be okay for SLO, UCD, UCI, and UCSB. But it also depends on your competition for this year due to budget cuts. </p>

<p>Cal, and possibly UCLA, would be a semi-reach for you. </p>

<p>Any of the Ivies, Caltech, Stanford, would be north (or WAY north) of Cal’s admission standards, so definitely a reach. </p>

<p>Don’t know about CMU, RIP, and Pepperdine.</p>

<p>Do you guys think that the fact that my colleges are pretty much all reaches and I have no safeties is a bad thing? On average to people usually make it into their match schools?</p>

<p>I agree with the above statements regarding your chances. I would suggest to get rid of about 7 or 8 reach schools and add some safeties. I don’t really see how you picked out what colleges to apply to except by looking at lay prestige. There are good engineering schools that are much easier to get into. Check out Purdue, Texas A&M, Georgie Tech, Illinois (might be tought).</p>
