So this friend of mine, let’s call her “Catwoman” is applying to college this year. I’m making her a chance thread. It’s right here. The applications are submitted: this is out of her nimble fingers now. Why make this thread, then? I do not know.

GPA: 3.97 unweighted, her school doesn’t weight “grades.” A’s except in Math.

SAT: Taken three times.
CR: 800 Writing: 740 Math: 570
CR: 750 Writing: 710 Math: 570
CR: 760 Writing: 740 Math: 640

AP Scores:
English Lang: 5
Environmental Science: 4
US History: 5
Euro History: 5

This year, she’s taking AP Eng Lit, AP Psych, AP Art Hist, AP Calc AB, Advanced Physics. Was not able to take a fourth year of language due to scheduling restraints. Her essays are super duper ridiculously awesome in her opinion and hopefully her recs are too.

Extra-Curric:
She’s editor-in-chief of the school newspaper which has won a ton of awards, NSPA Gold Medal last year. She’s the only student representative to the township’s community committee. She’s on a local charity’s junior board planning events for them which sounds a lot cooler than it is, and there’s not that many volunteer hours. NHS, captain of JV tennis but not on Varsity.

High school is good suburban public school. Class of 300, no ranks.

Schools: Pomona, Carleton, Macalester, Tufts, GWU, Lewis & Clark, Brown
