chance a hopeful junior for nyu

<p>I am currently a junior but this will pretty much be my stats when i apply.
GPA 2.85 UW 2 APS
SAT 2200 CR 750 Math 740 Writing 710
E.Cs
junior classical league president(2 years)
soccer(4 years, 2 varsity)
lacrosse captain senior year (4 years 3 varsity)
mock trail 2 years
forensics 2 years
pro life club president 2 years
key club vp 2 years
hospital volunteering 2 years
Work
USSF ref since i was 14,
busboy/waiter since 16
summer job since 16
internship at my twp office 2 summers</p>

<p>Note I have very strong recommendations as well as a perfect essay and my mother passed away before freshmen year, and i showed a significant upward trend.</p>

<p>The average at NYU is something like 3.6 or 3.7. You’re way off with a 2.85.</p>

<p>31% of students have a GPA 3.75 or higher; 37% have a GPA 3.5-3.74. Only a mere 2% of students have a GPA within your range.</p>

<p>NYU2013 is right. Your GPA is way too low. Unless you have some ridiculous EC, then your chances are pretty darn low. Sorry.</p>
