Try to get your SAT above a 2100. You have sufficient extracurriculars. Make sure your essays are very good. I think it’s very reasonable to assume that, if you can improve your SAT and write very good essays, you’ll make your dream school.

It looks as if you are going into grade 11 / junior year…you look as though you are on the right track, though standardized testing (at least SAT/AP) doesn’t seem to be your friend. Also, your list of ECs looks like a lot of moderate involvement but nothing particularly close to your heart. This would be a good year to work on developing depth in one or two of them. Come back next spring and tell us how you’re doing- that will be a better time for chancing.

Hi! I think that you’re a match for Boston University and you can definitely get into Pace. I feel like NYU isn’t a reach for you if you bring up your SAT, esp. if your essays are great. Good luck, I hope you get into your dream school!

I think several posters here are underestimating the difficulty of admission at Princeton and Stanford. Those test scores are low for either school, and a 3.64 GPA would put you well in the bottom 25% of applicants-most students with these stats who get in are accepted because of a unique talent (think Natalie Portman), sports, or extensive connections (think George Bush).

Raise the SAT to 2300 or the ACT to 35 and that may offset the GPA.

@collegemom3717 -From what I can tell, OP is going into her senior year. She says, for instance, in discussing her debate and MUN experience “historian 10 and 11 VP next year.” That, to me, implies that she’s entering grade 12.

Looking at her description of the Chemistry club, I get the same impression.

Unfortunately, there seems to be little time to develop these ECs beyond what they are at the present. Hopefully OP can raise her test scores some, and now the focus turns to essays and recs, but beyond that her profile is more or less a finished product.
