<p>I’m looking for the range of schools I should apply for and suggestions for what I should do to increase my chances</p>

  • SAT: (Haven’t taken yet, but shooting for 2300+)
  • GPA: Weighted 4.54 Unweighted 4.0
  • Rank: 10/370</p>

    • Robotics
      • Since freshman year
      • Won Northern CA FLL championship 2009, qualifying for FLL European Open
      • Won FTC Nevada State championship 2011, qualifying for World Festival
      • Founded and am president of school vex robotics team that won local tournament, qualifying for VEX world championships
      • Worked on NASA minibot project
    • Research
      • Did a research internship at a university over the summer
      • Working on publishing bioinformatics paper
      • Winner of regional science fair and competitor at ISEF
    • USABO Semifinalist
    • Leadership/Community Service
      • 250+ hours (100 Mercy General Hospital, 100 Robotics Outreach, 50 Miscellaneous)
      • President of school Vex Robotics Club
      • Treasurer of Interact Club
    • Doubles on school tennis team</p>
