OTHER:

 • Recommendations will be OK, but not stellar.
 • Participating in AMC12, USPhO and US Chem Olympiad this year.
 • No particular passions- genuinely curious about everything I do though.

Mmmkay, what would count as outstanding?

I think that middle school awards are generally put aside. Just my opinion.

You look in great shape man! But your pursuits are all academic or “asian”, and I haven’t heard of anyone with only the these kind of ec’s getting admitted. But I’m sure there are stellar students who focus on “asian” interests-- like you—who get into Harvard. Right?

I sure hope so.

I’m a junior too…We competing, bro. My grades/scores are actually better than yours (there’s very little room for improvement…you’re near perfect. I’m just perfect. Doubt it matters much)

I haven’t done as many competitions or EC’s as you. Someone tell me if this is enough:
Playing volleyball at school and club
Coaching volleyball in China
Teaching English in China
Intern at Caltech
Working at JPL this summer
Volunteer at Homeless shelter
Other stuff I can’t remember
