How creative are you as a writer? The essay is VERY important.

i think im pretty funny/witty

does the essay hold that much weight?
honestly i hope so because my gpa transcript is lacking

I think I got in on my essay alone. It’s THAT important. But I’ve heard that the admissions people appreciate risk-taking on the essay, so I think you might want to try to avoid cliches, even though when you see it’s -that- important people tend to want to be conservative.

If it’s unweighted, your GPA is very competitive, so I wouldn’t worry about that. The essay is still a big thing though.

great…i was thinking of applying EA …will that help or not really?
