<p>Chances are, if you have to invent ECs right now, they might just end up being fluff and colleges will see through that.</p>
<p>Join clubs that interest you, volunteer, get good relationships with your teachers (recs), and do something over the summer (soph summer and junior summer). I’m not going to tell you to “find something you’re passionate about”, but try to do something meaningful that you’re willing to commit to.</p>
