Chance a low income low GPA international for Dartmouth ED (and other schools) pretty please

In principle, I have no problem looking at your application—feel free to PM it to me. In practice, though, I don’t know that it would be more useful than the input you’re getting from others on this thread—I’m a professor, not a member of an admissions committee (which is a staff position at the vast majority of US postsecondary institutions).

Undergraduate applications for admission to US colleges and universities aren’t reviewed by faculty (except in vanishingly rare circumstances that don’t apply here). Also, at most US institutions one doesn’t apply to a specific major as an undergraduate, and for those that do have that sort of admission setup, linguistics won’t have a special review outside of something more general relating to the college/division linguistics is a part of.

So remember that you aren’t crafting an application for admission that you need to target toward admission to a linguistics program, but rather you’re crafting an application that includes your achievements in linguistics as support for your admission to either a postsecondary institution as a whole or to a college/division within a postsecondary institution.

(Now once you get to applying for graduate school, nearly everything I just said is inapplicable, and gets turned on its head. But that’s a while off yet.)
