Did not receive a supplement.

You’ve got fairly strong stats and apparently you’re a good/great writer. If you’re after CoE or CoC (which doesn’t appear to be the case), it’s a bit risky, but for L&S I’d say you’re probably golden.

bump

Also, I just got rejected UCLA. So +10 to my nervousness!

I would say that you are definitely getting in, but you never know now a days… people with your scores are nkot even getting into UCSB and UCSC… its crazy!!! GOOD LUCK

I know plenty of people who got into UCLA but not Cal, and vice versa. AFAIK UCLA tends to emphasize stats more, while Cal puts somewhat more emphasis on essays/being well-rounded.

Also, it’s out of your hands at this point; don’t get freaked out at the idea that you won’t get in. The worst that can happen is you wind up going to a second choice, in which case you’ll probably be pleasantly surprised at how nice it is there. That’s certainly what I experienced here, <.<.

bump
I see myself as a borderline applicant, yet i have not yet received a supplement.

are you applying for engineering? because i think you should be in for l&s

nope. l&s.

@jonnosferatu haha thank you. ive been saying your words as my mantra today. “Also, it’s out of your hands at this point; don’t get freaked out at the idea that you won’t get in.”

if you can chance me back that’ll be great  i have a thread
