<p>Honestly, you probably shouldn’t get your hopes too high.
If you have an amazing life story, it’s still possible, but still highly unlikely. Work hard on your essays and you have a shot.
My advice: fall madly in love with your safeties, and it will save you much heartache. Don’t equate your self-worth with where you get into college; undergrad isn’t as important as grad, so just be happy with the opportunity to go anywhere.</p>
