I’m a white male, too, which is probably important to know. So, what do you all think my chances are?

You really do have very good chances at all of the schools on the list. I am sure that you will be accepted to JHU and Northwestern and most likely one or more of HYPM.

I also forgot to mention that I’ve been a track captain for the past two years and will be one again this year. I also scored all 5’s on my ap tests, but I know those don’t matter a ton for college admissions.

I have to agree with Chromey. If you really are pessimistic about your chances to get in anywhere, then you have NO self-esteem and really are stupid. You can get in anywhere you want.

Great chances at all of those schools. Don’t be pessimisstic. You make other people feel bad about themselves if you think that THOSE stats are bad. Right now I feel like going back to my room and moping about my pending rejection letters. And I was finally starting to feel hopeful that I had a chance…

I haven’t even heard of nano chemistry…you’re probably in at all of them. I understand why people are pessimistic about admissions to top colleges because the general thought is that there’s always a more qualified applicant, but to be honest, it’s hard to be more qualified than you are.
