Chance a pleasantly surprised applicant for remaining colleges?

I’m a competitive Computer Science applicant, you can look at my past threads if you really want to see the specifics of my profile, but in short, 2300+ SAT, mid 3.8 gpa(done in by a horrible freshman year), very good EC’s that are quite different from normal CS applicants, mostly involve combining different disciplines, so interdisciplinary stuff, which I’m really interested in doing as CS major, and noteworthy essays.

I’m quite surprised that I got into UCLA, considering the competitiveness, so I’m thinking maybe there’s something people might like about my profile.

Where I’ve gotten in, applied for computer science major in each: UC Davis, UCSD, UC Santa Barbara(Regents), UC Irvine, UCLA, UofR (16k/year scolarship), UW(No DA admission to comp sci :() Georgia Tech.

Waitlsted : WUSTL, Harvey Mudd

Rejected : NWU

So where do you think I’ll get in out of these remaining ones?

Rice
Duke

Funny that Duke is a “match” but Brown is a “high match” and Penn is a “high match/low reach.” Duke is well ahead of Brown in every ranking and is on par with Penn in every ranking.

Chance threads are silly because the majority of respondents do not know what they are talking about. The truth is that all of these schools listed (except for USC) have essentially the same standards, and without reading your essays and recommendations, no one can predict your results.

Yep, Duke just rejected me.

yes

USC: Acceptance
Rice: Acceptance
Duke: Rejection
UCB: Rejection
Brown: Rejection
Upenn: Rejection
Columbia: Rejection
Stanford: Rejection
CMU(School of Computer Science): Acceptance
Cornell(Deferred for ED): Acceptance (maybe waitlist?)

@inorderto Can you tell me your ECs please?
Thanks a lot!

Crapshoot. Nothing can predict the Ivies decisions. Chance me: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1757017-chance-me-harvard-stanford-wharton-upenn-columbia-brown-yale-princeton-ect.html#latest

Ivies and Stanford are a REACH for everyone…and not a Low reach either. Fortunately you have some good options already. I say USC is a match and the rest are reaches.

Rejected from USC and UCB, …this took a bad turn very quickly…

Oh got into Rice…what?

@inorderto‌ How about Stanford?
