- Freestyle nunchaku - Here’s my obscure hobby. It’s a performing art that’s sort of like a blend between martial arts and juggling/dance, using the object traditionally seen weapon in a new way - my greatest passion (practice daily, individually). I run a wiki website compiling information about the art. Unlike martial arts, it’s largely a self-study art, all about individual innovation, though there is a considerably large online community. It’s not really possible for me to show my passion through a standard club, competition, or award since it’s such a rare activity and based on individual expression. I’m very passionate about this, but feel like no one will really understand what it is and I don’t want to use up my essay explaining it - I reckon my GC’s rec will include it, though. (10th-12th)
