<p>He is not Emma Watson level of famous but with recognizable acting credits, and represented by one of the top talent agencies in the world. He will be majoring in theater. </p>

<p>He is just going into his sophomore year with a 3.99 average and a few honors classes. He does not plan on taking many AP classes maybe only 3 of them between junior and senior year but will take honors classes. ( will this hurt his chances?)</p>

<p>He was homeschooled for middle school due to working and missed being able to take part in team sports and is making varsity swim and lacrosse his extracurriculars rather then drama club or school plays. His other focuses in school is film studies and is volunteering at a school for special needs kids teaching them movie making and stop motion animation.</p>

<p>What else does he need? What sort of SAT score should he be working towards? </p>

<p>In general, it’s a little early for this. Most schools consider the freshman year of high school very little, as it’s often a transition period for kids.</p>

<p>For the AP classes question, it depends on how many are offered at his school and what a normal load is. Brown receives a school profile with his transcript and will see whether he’s taking a difficult schedule in comparison to his classmates or not. For SAT/ACT scores, you can look at Brown’s median scores, but it’s early to think about those as well.</p>

<p>What he needs to do right now is do things because he’s interested in them, not because they’ll look good on college apps. Brown really rewards students with passion.</p>
