GPA/class rank/test scores?

oh oops sorry

My Sat score was 2100
SAT II Math: 800
SAT II CHEMISTRY: 800

top half of class (my school is really competitive)
3-3.2 I think

great chances…

Your ECs are strong, your GPA (3-3.2) is on the lower end, however. A good question to ask yourself is whether you feel with the GPA on the lower end, is this school where you want to attend. Many of your fellow students in your NU classes will have stronger academic scores (3.5-4.0 UW) and some with higher SAT scores (2200+) . Given that scenario, if you were to get accepted, is this where you want to pursue your undergraduate degree?

rt_08: Thank you very much

APOL: It’s definitely one of my top schools (other than Columbia and Georgetown). I heard it has a great international studies program. If I do get accepted, I’ll be happy to attend.

Without a doubt.

If you are interested in International Relations, I would recommend that you also look at Tufts and possibly Johns Hopkins.

Are my chances good for Hopkins?

Johns Hopkins is just as hard to get into as Northwestern. Georgetown SFS and Columbia are slightly more competitive.
