ACT: 29, 30 superscored
Also took Pre-AP Classes and received a 5 on the IBSL Econ exam
Extracurriculars: Student Council Vice President, Men of Power (African American mentoring group) secretary through which i got 50+ community service hours, Spanish Club, was in a rock band with friends for 3+ years,
Work: Had a job junior and senior years
Awards: AP Scholar with Honor, National Achievement Scholar outstanding participant, National Spanish exam honorable mention

College: University of Miami
GPA: 3.0 (2.5 First semester, 3.5 second semester)
4.0 Poli Sci GPA
3.5 Econ GPA
Extracurriculars: Economics Club, Students for Sensible Drug Policy,United Black Students, Intramural flag football, Model United Nations
Work: Work at the University Information Desk(Work Study), received an internship with one of the best political and economic research organizations in South Florida, the Metropolitan Center (which would give me the opportunity to become a paid research assistant if the internship goes well). I also have an internship with a local Congresswoman’s office lined up for next semester.

My first semester was really bad and I know it will hinder me, but my question is if I get at least a 3.5 for the next two semesters would I have a chance of transferring to any of these schools.

Most schools aren’t known for giving much aid to transfers. Have you considered cost in your transfer list? What can you pay each year?
