<p>when you say african immigrant, does that mean you came from africa and you’re now a US citizen? or does that mean you’re just here on a greencard or student visa?</p>

<p>If you’re US citizen, then your chances go up dramatically.</p>

<p>If not, then chances drop dramatically (especially since you’re going to be applying for financial aid as an international)</p>
