If you look at top schools, your math score is in all of the 25-75 percentile ranges (except Caltech) and your reading score will probably be just below the 25th percentile. Sooo there are people who get into top schools without really good SAT scores. They will be impressed with your GPA and research, and since you really can’t do anything about it ow, don’t worry about it.

yea im tryin to stay chill about the whole thing…3 more months and its over with

seriously no offense at all, but these are the type of people i hate the most…book smart, all you do is study and become valedictorian and do horrible in the SAT’s …which finally show who they really are. all the valedictorians i have known went to one of the worst schools…cuz all they do is study and have no extracurrics and low SAT scores…get ur face off the books, go outside and do something please. again no offense. ur SAT’s arent that bad anyway. i just got ****ed cuz the valedictorian in our school last year got into a horrible school after gloating to the world about her perfect gpa.

well you’re entitled to your opinion…but if don’t have anything constructive to say don’t bother posting on this thread…

IwannaJOB: If this horrible school is ranked anywhere between 21-100 in USNWR.
I bet most people wouldn’t consider it to be a ‘horrible school.’

it’s not the quantity but the quality that counts. If Sena5 did really good and did alot with the clubs then they’ll be more amazed than her doing nothing with 30 club dues paid.

Baru!!!

His SAT’s and GPA are higher than yours. How incredibly rude of you to imply that the OP could be cheating. Pi$$ off.

The OP has a great shot at UVA and William and Mary. He is a valedictorian and will be looked at seriously by every school he applies. SAT scores are very good.

Peace,
Pedsox

Bottom line folks, the OP will be judged in the context of his peers. He stood head and shoulders above the rest of his graduating class. This is impressive. His GPA and SAT’s are fine. He will be offered admission at several top schools. He will not end up at some “horrible” school.
