<p>Ouch ouch and more ouch. Your SAT will kill you for everything you’ve listed, ESPECIALLY HYPSM. The fact that you are asian puts you at a huge disadvantage, as you’re going to be competing with stellar asians getting 2200+ SAT scores. Retake the SAT and try to land above a 2200.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, andyboy is right: you’re going to get hammered on an SAT score like that for those schools. Extracurriculars won’t mitigate that much, eiher. Not to be a provincialist, but it sounds like you’ve got a much better shot at McGill than with the Big Boys of American higher education. What’s your major going to be? Knowing that will help you find the schools that will make good safeties.</p>

<p>Oooh…you may want to retake the SATs. It hurts enough that you’re a math-focused Asian, but that score is going to smart big time.</p>
