<p>Too much information. You are easily identifiable to admissions and you are not using good judgement. Does your father think it is a good idea for you to post this? If he doesn’t mind, then ok.</p>

<p>Something like 91% of the class of 2017 at Georgetown ranked in the top 10% of their class. Your sat’s are on the low end of the accepted range. If you want to be one of the exceptions because you are connected to the university or feel you have other attributes , don’t post it all over CC. It causes hard feelings to those that don’t get accepted but feel they have stronger stats. As you know, Georgetown does a holistic review, no stranger on CC can do that for you.</p>

<p>I have seen people get accepted to schools for many reasons. But when they are connected to people and that could play a role in acceptance, they used better judgement than to go on this website and state it.</p>

<p>My dad is fine with me posting here. He really wants me to get in and posting here gives me a picture of my chances. I don’t see the problem. </p>

<p>I also don’t care if someone gets hurt feelings if they don’t get in and I do; that’s not my problem. I’ve posted the info to get the best idea of my chances. Stronger stats is relative since GTown is holistic. </p>

<p>From what I’ve heard, having a parent working there only gets you past the first round. I was hoping my ECs and holistic stuff would make up for my academics. I’m a lot smarter than my rank and grades show, I just never applied myself. My SAT is within range for the BSchool and Health School, though on the lower end.</p>
