<p>This entire thread is defensive; you’re the one putting out a chances thread with spelling mistakes and trying to convince people that you have a 50% chance of getting in because you are a legacy, yet telling people that your stats are not good enough. I am not an admissions officer and neither are 99% of people on this forum, so no one has a true idea of what your chances are, especially at a school like UVA where instate kids with perfect SATs get rejected every year. But my advice stands: if you want your essays to be “very good” then make sure you have some people grammar check them to increase your chances. I’m also pretty sure my previous post was not worded rudely (perhaps terse), but this one is pretty snarky compared to my normal posting tone, I will pre-admit - based on your reply.</p>
