<p>I’d disregard the $2k additional costs. In my experience, the Additional Fees are the same for any school. Except of course travel if you live on the West Coast and send your child to a New England School (like my sister) or vice versa. Health insurance shouldn’t be necessary if your child is covered under your own plan (now under Obamacare til age 26); text books cost pretty much the same anywhere (this past semester my son rented his books at a big savings). Incidentals are dependent on you and your child and what they are used to. </p>
