Chance at a top schools

I am only going into my sophmore year but I am wondering how I am looking so far.

I have had straight A’s since the fifth grade.
I have a 4.33 weighted GPA.
This is the highest in this year’s freshman class.
My freshman year schedule was:
english 1 honors
biology 1 honors
integrated science 1 honors(I doubled in science)
Algebra 2 honors
required gym
and required langauge

For ec’s
Varsity football lettered as a freshman.
Debate team next year and NHS next year
Also lettered in weightlifting as a freshman and participated in track and field.

I also went to the Florida state science fair this year.

How am I looking and how an I improve?

edit: My main interest (as of now) are all math and science related and are all in the field of space technologies.

So are there any things I can do that would help me get into a school where these types of things are focused on.

you’re only a freshman…relax.

Just keep up your grades and do well on the SAT’s…you have plenty of time to prepare.

If your science project (the one you went to the state science fair with) means something to you, keep refining it and see if you can take it/submit it to Siemens/Intel/ISEF and related competitions.

I am told to relax but I hear that you need to start early and do very specific things to get into schools such as M.I.T. or caltech.

Also, I do plan on continuing my science fair project and as of now there is a good chance that I will be able to conduct my research at USF.

not really, i didn’t really mould my high school to fit what MIT or ivy leagues expected of me, i chose to do what i wanted to do and was passionate about. you probably might want to consider that, coz MIT looks more for passion than anything.
good luck
