<p>For me, the biggest issue is paying for college. It’s going to come down to who gives me the best financial aid for the service the school provides. Anyway, stats (as a junior):</p>
<p>UW GPA: 4.0
Weighted GPA: 5.57 (out of 6)
SAT: 2250 (800 Math, 730 CR, 720 Writing)
Planning to take SAT IIs (if considered)
Major being considered: Electric/Computer engineering
Class rank: Last I was able to see I was top 2% (Top 15/16 kids)
Extracurriculars (years given will be those that I will have by graduation, assuming all goes well):
- Marching band for 3 years
- Jazz band for 2 years
- Wind Ensemble/Concert band for 3 years
- Member of youth group for 4 years
- Volunteered for a Christmas Party for underprivileged all 4 years (admittedly, probably the most volunteering I’ll get) </p>
<p>As far as leadership goes, I’m gonna go out for section leader in marching band next year as well as a leadership role in my youth group.</p>
<p>I’m really not trying to brag or anything (I’m aware these are great stats, I’m not oblivious), I’m just really curious. I know the website says full rides are possible from this scholarship as well, am I a nominee for that?</p>
