School Rank: Lucky 13/480

Extracurriculars: Playing cello (SC Region Orchestra, District Orchestra, Columbia Community Orchestra), Church Youth Group President and Small Group Leader, Surfing (on the beach, not on the web), Tennis, Science Olympiad

Special Accomplishments: First place in SCJAS (South Carolina Junior Academy of Science) Competition in mentored engineering: “The effect of temperature on the stress relaxation of epylene propylene diene copolymer,” an overcomplicated but required way of saying “Smushing rubber and mathicizing it”

Early decision, too.
Btw, should I send my SAT I scores? I feel like my ACT scores look much better with all but writing in the 30s. That 29 and that 680 feel so awkward next to the 700 and 30 numbers…

Highly competitive. I say in ED. Both your ACT and SAT scores are competitive. Being from the South will also help.
