My brother is currently a student with International Business major at Aalto university - Mikkeli base, Finland and will be graduating next year. He’s going to apply for a MBA course but have not decided a country. Is a Bachelor degree in Finland less valued for graduate study than one from a US university? While Aalto university is the best school to take an undergraduate course in Business in Finland.

Your undergrad doesn’t matter so much as your work experience. If the BA at the Finnish university is equivalent to the BA at an American university, it’s fine - there are many MBA students at top schools who are from Europe and other parts of the world. But the vast majority of MBA students at the best MBA programs have work experience, and have at least 2-3 years of it before they get into these programs. No one wants to hire an MBA with no work experience, and I think people would want to hire a foreign MBA with no work experience even less.

You should navigate to the MBA section under the Business and Professional School Forums. There will be more info for you there. this is for Masters and PhD in Science, IR and other, not for professional schools. And the really top MBA programs are looking at 5 years experience at least and you had better be very impressive with just that.

Thanks a lot for all your help!
