Chance solely based on stats, not EC please. I have a lot but I just want to know where I stand with this at the moment.
http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/freshman-admissions-summary indicates frosh admission rates in 2015 for GPA range 3.80-4.19:
39% UCSD
49% UCSB
57% UCI
However, if your majors are impacted or capped majors, the chance of admission (at least to the majors) is likely to be lower. In addition, admission may be more competitive this coming year than in previous years.
For CSUs other than CPSLO, your eligibility index is 4422 based on the SAT (GPA * 800 + SATCR + SATM) and 1118 based on the ACT (GPA * 200 + ACT * 10). However, only SJSU publishes past thresholds, at http://info.sjsu.edu/static/admission/impaction.html . Of course, thresholds could change in the future.
I think you have a very good chance at all the CSU’s except for SLO since you state 9th grades are rather low???
I agree with @ucbalumnus’s assessment for the UC’s, but this is based on stats only. Very difficult to determine how your EC’s and essays will be received but you have some good choices among the CSU’s.
