Chance at UCs (please don’t flame)

I was wondering which, if any, UCs I could get into with…

-High school:
GPA: 3.0
SATs: never taken
EC: just freshmen football and the Asian pacific islander club. Also, I worked as a bagger for several years for no wages only tips. (they considered it volunteer) Does that count? Two summers as a summer hire dealing with computers.

-ITT Technical Institute (don’t flame please)
GPA: 3.97 (salutatorian)
Associates Degree in computer and electronics engineering technology.
EC: 3 awards for project of the quarter (2 robots and 1 robotic arm), lab assistant for 8 months, Member of the Robotic Society of Southern California, summer internship at NASA’s Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex.

-Local California CC (first year)
Full time student.
Current GPA: 3.7 (expected to go up next semester)
EC: Currently full time employee at NASA’s Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex (their paying for school =] ). Hopefully I will be a mentor in the local high school’s robotics club if it gets approved, and considering joining the Alpha Gamma Sigma Scholastic Honor Society to rack up some community service.

Currently looking at UCB, UCD and UCI for electrical engineering with no sob story. Chances with any UCs?

thnx

i’d say you have pretty good chances… I don’t think your time at ITT tech can hurt you as you’ve obviously done something with it (employment at NASA). 3.7 is a solid GPA + good extracurriculars (work experience etc…) to be honest i wouldn’t even bother to list your highschool e.c’s as they are extraneous at this point.

You have excellent chances at all of the schools you mentioned.
