<p>I applied to all the UCs but Idk if I have a chance … should I apply to Cal states?</p>

<p>UC GPA: 4.08
SAT : 2020
intended major: creative writing/ music
no ap scores/ no sat subject tests.
good ecs.</p>

UCSD: Low Reach
UCSB/UCD/UCI: High Match
UCSC: Match
UCR/UCM: Low Match
Does your school not offer AP’s? If no AP’s offerred than you are ok. If they are offerred and you did not take advantage, then that will be deterimental to your application since UC’s want course rigor. If schools recommended SAT subject tests, you will be at a disadvantage.</p>

<p>You could add 2 Cal States for safeties.</p>

<p>Well my school does offer AP courses and I did take them but I just didn’t take the AP exams.
I applied to Cal State Long beach :o </p>

<p>Admissions may question why take the AP classes and not take the tests. AP test scores have no bearing on college admissions. They are only useful for college credit.</p>

<p>CSULB would a definite match.</p>
