but I am taking Jan. SAT,
so hopefully I can get over 2200 and Cornell
reviews my application with my January scores.

I put CALS AEM and Undecided.
Does that mean, if I don’t get into AEM, I will be in Undecided major?

As always, what do you want to be and will your essay stand out?
If so, maybe a decent shot. Also depends on if you have taken the most rigorous courses at your school (APs, IBs, etc.).

With the information you gave me so far, I say reach.

I wrote about how I was drawn to sports management
from an incident that happened between my idol player
and a MLB team.
According to my teacher, it isn’t as touching as my other essays
but great. Other essays were really strong and even poignant…
too bad I couldn’t write one like that for Cornell but I am
satisfied with what I sent for Cornell.
I started from the lowest of the lowest of the school(class level wise)
and made to 4 AP classes in one year… my low classes in Freshmen year
might be a little problem, but my counselor and teacher (recommendation)
explained how I had to be placed in lower classes due to school policy.

I have always considered Cornell as a reach school so I am not surprised with your comment. Thank you very much for your response.
