<li><p>Runner up at my high school’s film festival 2009, winner 2010 (that same short video also won my school’s Best of Show at our annual Variety Show)</p></li>
<li><p>I’m leading a student organization to confront our School Board about some seriously questionable actions by my school’s administration. They allowed some pretty graphically homophobic material to be displayed, and I led a small coalition of students to vent our frustrations and wishes for reform to the district school board. We’ve got private meeting with the superintendent scheduled for Jan 13th. </p></li>
<li><p>This probably doesn’t do much in my favor, but I met Danny Boyle at a 127 Hours screening and wrote about how I made him laugh out loud in one of my supplemental statements</p></li>
<li><p>As a part of my school’s VEI class (we run our own fake business, and everyone in the class has a “job”. I’m the webmaster), I went to the annual Tennessee Trade show (fake companies come together for a fake trade show, that sort of thing), and my website made the Top 10 finalists</p></li>

<p>I’m applying to USC and Northwestern as my reach schools, but was just curious about my chances for acceptance and scholarships at BU as well. I don’t know if this will affect anything, but I’ve been accepted to Emerson College, which is somewhat close by.</p>
