Chances at

Cal
UCLA
UCSD

sorry UC GPA- 4.25

Cooking was a good and original subject. I’m not sure about your chances because I’m not up to date on overseas admit metrics. Good luck shahwaiz!

PS: you can get good Pakistani and South Asian food at Berkeley!

Cal/UCLA: Reach

Chance for UCB: Your stats are barely enough for an out-of-state student, let alone for an international student  The low GPA will hurt a lot. But who knows, the personal statement will probably be the determining factor!

whats a good GPA…my friend got into berkeley with a 3.91…and a 2100 SAT but 690/710 SATIIs?..but oh well

cool i’m also from Pakistan and i’m applying in UC berkeley too…not in an american school though…

thats good…where in paki are you from and what are your stats and colleges you have applied to…??..

aaah dont wanna post stats too tiresome…:(…but i’m from the city school and i’ve applied to UC berkeley, UCLA, UC davis and UC irvine…

sat?..sat2? are u international…or in state us citizen?

UCB is hard for OOS, let alone international students. I think your stats are just average, and that may make it very difficult for you. I’d say UCB is a reach for you, but there’s definitely a chance for you!

i think the acceptance rate for intels is 5% or something - and u’ll be competing against Asians with crazyyyy stats. Unless you have an amazing essay, its a far reach. But then again I ve seen people with average SAT scores getting in, so anything is possible…btw did u take O/As Levels?

UCB: Reach (OOS)
