Chance for any above average colleges?

Hey guys, I want to know what above average universities I can get in for sure. I’m class of 2015. And I’m Asian who came to US 2 years ago. Here’s my profile

  • Freshman GPA:3.3 (my GPA was bad because it was my first year)
  • Sophomore GPA:3.5
  • Total 7 AP courses (1 in Sophomore 3 in Junior 3 in Senior)
  • Varsity Tennis
  • Joined few clubs
  • 200+ volunteer hours(going to be over 250 hours after junior year)
  • I didn’t take SAT yet because I’m sophomore. But I just started studying and I’m getting 1800s and 1900s on practice tests. I’m planning to get 2100+ on SAT.
  • I go to very prestigious and competitive boarding school.
I know my GPA is pretty low but I’m going to work hard in Junior year and get above 3.8 GPA.
Any above average college will accept me if I get above 3.8 GPA in Junior year and get 2100+ on SAT? What should I do to build up my career and increase my chance? Like what activities should I do in Junior year? more volunteers? I go to boarding school so my opportunity for activities is limited.

If you do get 3.8 GPA and 2100+ in SAT, then UMich may be a match for you. If you came to the States after freshman year in high school, you will need to take TOEFL for UMich.

What’s your budget? What’s your home state?

What do you mean budget? I came here at Freshman I dont have home state

I started and finished Freshman here. I dont need to take TOEFL. I also have green card. Do you think I should take SAT 2 Math 2? I’m planning to take Biology AP Exam and SAT Subject test.
