Chance for Dartmouth, Stanford, UCs, etc.

Asian Male

CommonApp essay wrote about how observing and spending time with this special education classmate of mine in my art class epitomized my attitude of helping others.
For additional info, I completely skipped Alg. 2 and went straight to Hon. Precal in sophomore year because people compared me with my brother who skipped Hon. Precal to AP CALC AB in 10th grade. That was like a 300 word essay about how risks accentuate the gravity of meaningful decisions.

Unweighted: 3.88 (2 B+'s freshman year, 1 B- in Hon. Precal Soph, 1 B- in Phys B Junior). Good thing is all those b’s are in the first semester, so every one of those have improved.
SAT Reading: 700, Math: 800, Writing: 700. Total: 2200
SAT II’s: Chem: 780, Math II: 800, Chinese: 800.

Sophomore: Hon. World Hist, Hon. Pre-Cal, AP Chem (4), Hon. Eng, PE, Chinese 4.
Junior: AP Physics B (5), AP English (4), AP Chinese (5), AP Calculus AB (5), Art 1, US Hist.
Senior: AP Bio, AP Stats, AP Lit, Weight training, Art 2, Gov/Econ.
^3 APs senior year.

Awards:

Please chance for Dartmouth, Stanford, Yale, JHU, Northwestern, UC Berkeley, Duke. Thank you.

I think you are a serious applicant which puts you in the top ~60% , however, I can’t see any passions in your application, it seems like a very generic ‘college padding’ list of ECs. But who knows?! Your essays might be outstanding, so best of luck!

You dont have that many ECs, and your race will hurt you at many private universities

Stanford, Yale - High reaches. Far too many asian males with better stats apply to these schools.
Dart, NW, JHU, Duke - Reaches. Same reason as above.
Cal - Match, because they don’t consider race.

I hope you applied to the other UCs as low matches/safeties.
