National Forensics for Speech and Debate
Historian of the Speech and Debate Team
Won the Silvercord Award for 400 hours of volunteer service in a hospital, working as a TA in a Biology class, working at an animal shelter, and tutoring kids who need help at a local middle school.
An internship at the end of my Senior year will be done towards Biology.
National Honor Society</p>

<p>PS. How good is the Financial Aid here?</p>

<p>Don’t apply ED if you need financial aid.</p>

<p>Ehh… your gpa and test scores are pretty weak for Duke… also, your extracurriculars are impressive, but won’t make you stand out from the crowd. That’s my input and my opinion, but Duke seems like a high reach.</p>

<p>Well, I do have some time to get my ACT scores up, I think. I won’t apply ED then, but I might be able to get it up to a 31 or 32 then?</p>

<p>I know someone with a 35 on the ACT who wasn’t accepted.
ED has a higher acceptance rate, because of the recruited athletes.</p>
