Did a research project with a professor at Stanford

State: California
Legacy: both of my parents went to Harvard.

Recommendations will be excellent.

What other schools should I apply too?

Let me know if you need any other info!
Thanks in advance.

Both your parents went to Harvard, I think that’s pretty much enough to get you in since you have good stats haha
You should definitely apply to other top-notch colleges since you have pretty impressive stats! Especially Stanford, doing research and having connections to a professor there definitely helps

That is one of the best resumes I have ever seen… No guarantees with a school like Harvard, but with that resume, and a double legacy, you have the best shot I have ever seen.

Your academics are basically perfect and your legacy status will be a big plus. That being said, Harvard admissions are unpredictable and extremely competitive, so you should definetly have some other options in mind. You are a very strong applicant though.

I am very committed in all my clubs l, I basically come up and organize fundraisers to raise money… And for my animal club (aka planet rehab) we have worked together and actually got to meet privately with Jay Leno and have a discussion on environmental issues that he was concerned about.

considering that this is one of your first posts, you’re profile says you’re 16, and that you profiled the stereotypical perfect rich applicant, i’d say that you are a ■■■■■. Also, it’s unlikely that you would take 3 IB classes and 10 AP classes which also shows that you are a ■■■■■. TROLOLOLOLL

This is actually my first post although I would go on this site from times to time. And yes I am 16 and a senior. I spent only 1 quarter in 5th grade before skipping to 6th grade, thus I am a bit younger. I am no ■■■■■, I have better things to do with my time. And it is not impossibly to take 3 IBs with 10 AP’s. It’s called managing your time wisely and being dedicated to your studies, something you wouldn’t know about.

To be honest, I think your chances are quite slim. Yes, you have almost perfect grades and test scores, but your EC’s seem a bit flat. Anyone with the proper connections can get a research opportunity from a Stanford prof and talk to Jay Leno. Plus, a “discussion” is not exactly commitment, since anyone can talk. Harvard wants someone who actually does something, not someone who can just talk.

You should definitely still apply to Harvard anyways. The fact that are learning 4 languages is impressive and legacy will help. You should also consider applying to Cornell, UVA, and the UCs. There is this new college that’s gaining recognition, Franklin University, which seems like it would fit you. It is nontraditional in that it focuses more on real world experience than classroom learning.

You have good chances. Did you apply EA to Harvard? That would make your chances go up more. The research with a Stanford prof will help you at Stanford, but not as much at the other schools.

You would probably have had a better chance had you not skipped a grade and taken that “extra” year to gain more meaningful ECs instead. Also, are you African-American? (only they are eligible for National Achievement) That will help your chances even more.

Seeing as you listed “National Achievement Scholar,” which is only open to African-Americans, I’m going to agree with some other posters: you are probably lying.

In case if anyone did not understand my first post on this thread, it basically meant: your poor trolling technique suggests that you should go to a lousy college.
