Please respond!

I was looking at the Mac CDS for 2007 recently and your scores are not too low. They are within the 50th percentile. Plus, last year, women had a slightly higher admit rate than men (42 percent compared to 36 percent.) Early decision admits were slightly higher at 45 percent overall.

Regarding SATs: the 25th to 75th percentile range was 1870-2160. The ACT range was 28-32. So you are at the lower end of the middle range of ACT takers. Still, remember that 25 percent of enrolled students scored below 28.

Here is a more in-depth look at percentages of students enrolled with these SAT scores.
700-799: For CR, 47.3 percent
For M, 31.2 percent
For W, 37.2 percent

600-699: For CR, 39.8 percent
For M, 54.2 percent
For W, 45.6 percent

Scores lower than 599, the percentages drop quite a bit. Good luck!

Thanks! That was helpful and reassuring.

Will anyone else evaluate my chances? Don’t be afraid to be harsh. Just be honest.
