In? Yeah right. More like slight reach. Only 4 APs? Sure, yeah, he’ll definitely beat those massive number of 10 AP+ students who apply to Emory.

will HIGHLY depend on how many AZ kids accepted EDI and EDII; will hinge on demographics and I agree with melin on the AP’s even if the OP had only few AP’s available to him/her; (Emory does not necessarily use the context of your school argument)…my guess would be a waitlist RD; and then, you can petition the admissions office to let you in if you are a full pay student (seems to be the MO for waitlist kids the last few years)

Your GPA is quite low; I don’t exactly know the percentiles of GPA of admitted class profile at Emory but I do know that with that few AP’s (not as rigor in course work as other applicants), having a high GPA is a must. Also, what is Love Club? You want significant EC’s if your numerical part of your application (ACT and GPA) is not as impressive.

However, you do wrestle and you work; use the two into your favor.

There are hardly any kids that I know from Arizona. I don’t even know if I know ONE. That should help you.

It seems like you’re pretty average for Emory. You definitely won’t be rejected. Waitlisted or Accepted, depending on the pool and number of applications.
