Chance for Rice and Stanford?

I’m a junior in Canada but I really really need to get away from the cold for university! Currently Rice is my dream school, and I know Stanford is quite a reach for me but I’m still curious. So here’s a little bit about me:

Average: 96.5% (not sure what that translates into for GPA… we only use percentage)
Class rank: 1 of 300 ish
Course load: International Baccalaureate Program
1. Biology (higher level)
2. English (higher level)
3. French (higher level)
4. History (standard level)
5. Math (standard level)
6. Chemistry (standard level)

ECs: - Swim team (captain) - 3 years
- Varsity rugby team - 3 years
- tennis team - 3 years
- head of strings (chamber strings & orchestra)
- award winning school orchestra concert master
- deputy editor of the school newspaper
- in the process of co-founding a sports league for children with learning disabilities
- athletic association secretary
- music association vice-president

Volunteer work: 100 hours at a children’s hospital
100 hours tutoring at a local library

I know it’s kind of hard to tell since I haven’t taken SATs yet, but any feedback would be much appreciated!

I would say in at Rice, or match.
Stanford unfortunately is a crapshoot, since it’s a top school. I think you have a really good chance, though.
Chance me?

anyoneeee?

Rice is also a top school, obviously. I think that you are well qualified for both Stanford and Rice. Take the SATs and see how you do!
