Chance for T20 Schools?

Hi! I am a sophomore who goes to a VERY small private school for students with ADHD and Dyslexia as an admissions strategy to get into the top schools. It has around 280 students. The reason I go there is because it offers a program that allows people to take unlimited college classes, and my public school only allows 8. Also, the ADHD thing is kind of a hook. I was diagnosed as a kid, and although it doesn’t affect me now, the school has been getting a lot of recognition in the news recently (Columbus Ohio. Won’t mention the exact school name) so it just makes sense. My school offers no AP classes or foreign language classes (which is good in a way because I can “overcome something”). I take college classes through a dual credit program in Ohio called College Credit Plus. I’ll list my stats below:

Demographics: Male, White, Midwest, Income: $150k+

Intended majors: Political science & economics

Awards: Honor roll? I don’t really have many awards. Presidents list from Franklin U.

High school GPA: 4.0 unweighted (my school does not weight)

College GPA: 4.0Classes: Most challenging high school course load offered. College classes taken: Intro to Web development, Psych 101, Comm 150, English 110, Spanish 1101, Personal Finance 101. Planning to take 16 college classes with college credit by graduation. Taking them through a program called CCP.ACT: 32 (I took the test in December as a freshman, so I’m assuming I’ll improve 2-3 points this year and next. Aiming for a 35)Extracurriculars: Treasurer of key club (moving up in leadership positions, probably going to be president by senior year), varsity basketball, student ambassadors program (leadership program at my school where we give tours and host events + other stuff), member of my public library’s teen advisory board, math club, going to summer@brown this summer and went there last summer

Started a computer repair business that recently took off. Getting a ton of business.

Looks like you have done well academically up to this point.

AHDH/dyslexia isn’t really a hook unless it’s documented and you have an IEP. Given the recent academic scandals, schools will be extremely wary of admitting students who can’t document officially that they have such issues.

And even then the system is such that families with enough money will claim that their kids need an IEP. So be extremely cautious.
