Sociology?? Really? Bet they haven’t seen a sociology major in a while! Why? Your credentials look fine but couldn’t you find a more useful major?

Maybe PoliSci, maybe Mgmt, it’s merely a possibility. As someone interested in the humanities/social studies fields, finding a “useful” major isn’t the easiest thing in the world.
