Chance for UC to UC

I’m a Geology major applying to UCD Geology and UCSC Earth Sciences with Environmental Geology concentration with a (projected) 3.6 GPA for Fall 2014. What do you think my chances for these would be assuming I complete all prerequisites and am missing only one GE?

I’m currently enrolled at UCR by the way. Would it be a waste of money to apply to UCB? I’m hoping to go to school in northern California. I know their Earth & Planetary Sciences major is an unimpacted major so would that help the fact that I’m .1-.2 away from the average applying transfer GPA?

*Edit: My reason for transfer would be that I must move closer to my family in the Bay Area (within a few hours drive) but would like to continue to have a UC education.

mdanese: check the websites and see what each school requires for intra uc transfer. You can’t have more than 120 units credit.
