Hi All,
I applied for 7 UC’s with great confidence this fall; at that time I believed that I would get 5 A’s (21 units) for this fall and end up with a 3.6~7ish GPA.
However, I didn’t do well on 3 final’s because of the mental pressure and ended up with 2A and 3B’s(boundaries, honestly).
The major that I applied for UCLA was Chemistry(Material branch), which was not impacted there but still hold a 3.5 mean gap.
The 3B’s that I got are: General Chemistry I, Physics(Electromagnetism) and Calculus III.
I’m having a complicated feeling for getting these three courses B’s because I devoted my every minute to these three classes during this semester; I didn’t go shopping, hang out or play video games through the entire semester…(and which is worse, I got B for my major course!)

tried to wrote a long story-telling email to the corresponding professors about how eager I was to get the A’s and explained the complicated reason for bad finals; as a result, two of them don’t check the email, and the one who read my emails was getting impatient.

Now it’s time to update our UC applications; I’m really afraid of filling those blanks with "B"s…what should I do now :(?

P.S. Now I’m taking two classes for this winter, which are guaranteed A’s but which I heard will not be counted by UC admission’s…
