<p>Hi guys! Hope everyone is enjoying their spring break (or is looking forward to it)! I’d like to get your opinions on my shot at UNC Chapel Hill as an in state student. All stats posted will be projected end of junior year stats. </p>

<p>UW GPA-3.75
W GPA-4.72
ACT-31
Rank: Top 10% (very competitive public high school that sends 40+ to UNC/year)
Will graduate with 8 AP classes</p>

<p>ECs:
Marching band (4 years w/possible leadership position)
2 year member of school’s top band (Wind Ensemble)
Member of Tri-M Music Honors Society
Performed in the school’s Symphony Orchestra performance
Flying lessons (will have Pilot’s License this year)
Aviation photography (400,000+ views online)
VP-HR at US Airways Virtual (I manage 500+ members)</p>

<p>Should have some pretty solid teacher recs and essays as well. </p>

<p>I am skeptical about the value of a leadership position in a virtual airline… but, if you’re lucky, it might make you stand out.</p>

<p>Personally, I agree that it is a match. You have ECs that are unique, which colleges look for. Good luck!</p>
