Subjective:

Teacher rec’s should be great, I got them from physics and spanish teachers who love me for my personality as well as my grades. Not too sure about guidance counselor rec.

I plan on putting a TON of work into essays/personal statements this summer.

I severely dislocated my knee TWICE (From football and then basketball). The second time it gave me a concussion as I hit the ground and required major surgery, but it had to be delayed because of my concussion. As a result, I racked up 11 abscences 2nd semester sophomore year and my GPA took quite a huge hit. I will explain this on my applications.

Thanks for any feedback, I will obviously go all out senior year to raise the GPA, any other tips would be awesome!

Excellent test scores, decent GPA, and strong EC’s. With some good rec’s, I can say you are a match at BU and Northeastern. USC is definitely much more competitive than the other 2, however, and your GPA is below average for their admits. However, if you enlighten them about your injury, you should be good. Around a low reach/possible high match due to essays for USC.

Thanks! I’m glad someone thinks those schools seem like reasonable matches.
