Chance for WashU with low SAT II score?

<p>I’m interested in applying ED to WashU Engineering, but my Math II SAT score is pretty low-- 670. I’ve taken it twice and gotten the same result, and obviously I won’t be able to try it again before the ED deadline.</p>

<p>My other SAT II scores are relatively strong (740 Lit, 750 Bio) and I got a 2250 on the regular SAT with a 720 on the math section. My math grades overall aren’t bad-- like B+/A- range in all honors/AP math classes.</p>

<p>How much do you think this low score will affect my application?</p>

<p>I would honestly not send that score in. Although WashU only looks for reasons to accept you, not decline you, the admissions directors are still people. </p>

<p>Since your SAT I Math score was above-average, I’d say send that in.</p>
