My grades are not in any way competitive.
No APs offered at my school. My grade’s best student is off to Harvard. We only sent two people to Ivy’s. The other to Cornell.

This is where I come from:
I was born 2 months premature and diagnosed ADHD and OCD at age 3. I started taking medicine and still do. I had speech and motor difficulties and started school late. I made a fortunate transition into a fine grammar school and excelled to some degree. In high school, I made even more progress, but I struggled to be attentive in many of my classes. I also was obsessive about how I was going to do on assignments that werent assigned yet. I had to learn to focus on everything in the present. I had anxiety in high school, but it got significantly worse after I finished my second semester of senior year. I started having panic attacks and took beta-blockers and had to improve my medicine a bit. Ive been recovering from my anxiety this summer. I have done great things, but to continue to do great things, I must be able to take care of myself as an adult. My limitations will still be there, but I will be able to manage them as I have done thus far.
