I’m a student in San Antonio who goes to Winston Churchill High School which is apparently ranked in the top 100 high schools in America…I think. I have a 95.8 GPA, am ranked 186 out of 690 and have over 100 volunteer hours. I was elected Treasurer in HOSA (a medical club) and raised $2000 through the snack bar I created for it. That same year I went to Nationals in Pathophysiology for competition and was enrolled in Clinical Rotations (a class in whcih students go to the local hospital and observe medical procedures). This senior year I was elected president. I am also Secretary/Treasurer of my local GSA. In my sophomore year I raised $250 for the Japanese Earthquake Tsunami Relief and donated it to the red Cross. I am currently in Japanese 4 AP, English 4 AP, Macro and U.S Govt AP, Pharmacology and Chemistry AP. Given all this does it look like I have a chance at getting in? My SAT score was about 1750. Thanks for reading all of this!!!
If it matters I am African American.
