<p>I’m an incoming Sophomore at Saugus High School, and I was wondering what my chances of making it into Stanford as either an Aeronautics Engineering or Business Major. My grades my Freshman year were as follows:</p>

<p>Honors Biology: A
Honors English: B+
Spanish I: A+
Business Analysis: A+
Honors Algebra II/Trigonometry: B
Football: A+
(Grades are before bump-up for honors/AP)</p>

<p>I was involved in the Young Republicans Club, as well as playing football and volleyball for my school’s team.</p>

<p>I maintained an A through A+ range in all testing areas in each of my classes, with my laziness in homework and projects bringing down my grades. I had a 97% average on finals in Honors Algebra II/Trigonometry, and hope that abilities such as that may help my hopes of becoming an aeronautics engineer.</p>

<p>Next year I plan to take: Honors Pre-Calculus, Honors Chemistry, AP European History, Spanish II, and Honors English, as well as playing football and volleyball, and possibly basketball, as well as joining the service club known as Key Club.</p>

<p>Yeah. If you keep your grades up with most to all A’s, and if you get great SAT scores, you should have a decent chance at Yale. You have two more years though to find out, so good luck!</p>
